Do you ever feel like day in and day out you’re low on energy and fatigued — or worse, just plain burned out? Or maybe you or someone you know has been diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome (also called myalgic encephalomyelitis or ME) or similar related illnesses, such as fibromyalgia and multiple chemical sensitivity? Perhaps you’ve also been unfortunate enough to deal with relentless pain?
If so, you’re probably looking for answers, which, let’s face it, are often difficult to get from your doctor. There never seems to be enough time in that 15-minute appointment to really get some information that might help you, right? You may often walk away having a few pertinent questions that weren’t really answered. And maybe you’re even doubting how you were diagnosed.
When I’m in this situation — and believe me I have been, unfortunately — I’m all about research and meeting with other health care practitioners, who often know about complementary therapies, to provide me with strategies. It’s often very helpful, because they offer different points of view and bring in their own expertise and training. But that gets expensive and let’s get real, isn’t always possible in every health situation or even feasible from a sheer scheduling and time standpoint.
Finding experts to help guide you through achieving optimal health and wellness is no easy task, especially for something that can seem so elusive as low energy and fatigue. So, when I found out about this free upcoming online health summit that covers the topic of energy holistically — i.e., mind, body, and spirit — I knew I had to sign up.
What better way to deal with a problem like low energy than to arm yourself with information and get the insights and expertise from a variety of experts — 30 to be exact?! Furthermore, the organizer of the summit notes that the solutions are “cutting edge” and backed by research, clinical experience, and the “perennial wisdom from Eastern cultures.” Sounds great, right?
So, if you’re interested in attending this summit, here are the details:
When does it start?
The Abundant Energy Summit is online and free from August 24-31, 2015. What’s really nice about it is that you can log in and listen to the expert talks at your convenience, but usually you only have about 24 hours to listen to each presentation.
How do you register?
Registration right now is free. Simply follow this link (all that is needed is that you submit your email address):
What will you get out of it?
According to summit organizer Niki Gratrix, an internationally-renowned registered nutritionist and health writer, the panel of 30 experts promise to share:
- “State-of-the art research to optimize physical, energetic, psychological and spiritual energy
- Comprehensive framework for your approach to reversing fatigue
- Practical steps to personalize your program and improve energy
- Guidelines and examples to reverse serious forms of chronic fatigue”
Plus, when you register now, these free ebooks and additional presentations are delivered straight to your inbox:
- Is Gluten Stealing Your Energy? by Tom O’Bryan, DC
- The 4 Quadrant Theory and Defining Integral Medicine (Part 1) by Ken Wilber
- Gluten Sensitivity, Chronic Fatigue and Autoimmune Disease eBook by Tom O’Bryan DC
- Healing Yourself and Others by Mastering Energy and Information eBook by Harry Masse
I have yet to check them out as I just signed up, but I’m especially intrigued to learn more about 4 Quadrant theory. I also want to know what’s said about gluten as I’ve already done a lot of in-depth reading about it and am currently living a gluten-free lifestyle. How about you? Anything piquing your interest?
Who are some of the experts?
Here are the speakers lined up for the first day of the event:
You’ll also be hearing from these well-known experts as the summit progresses:
- Rollin McCraty, PhD, Connecting to Heart Energy
- Tom O’Bryan, DC, Is Gluten Stealing Your Energy?
- Dietrich Klinghardt, MD, PhD, 5 Levels of Healing
Plus, of course, there will be an additional 20+ presenters sharing their expertise about regaining your energy!
Will you join me?
I’ve attended online summits before, such as the Autoimmune Summit organized by Dr. Amy Myers, a functional medicine doctor, and found it extremely helpful. It was amazing to hear from so many experts. Many of my questions got answered and I learned helpful lifestyle tips, practical information on food and supplements, and where to go for more answers. Plus, participants had the opportunity to leave comments, which sometimes merited a reply straight from the experts. So it was an enriching and informative experience!
Considering this one is a similar format and offered by the same company, I’m hoping it will be a rich and rewarding experience as well. Plus, there’s not much to lose when it’s free! Right? So, what do you think? Want to join me?
Hope to see you at the summit!

This sounds really interesting, so did you went to that summit? what did you learn? some thing unique? did you apply what you learned? Please write a blog covering these broad questions.
I’ve heard about the summit that was was a great success. Unfortunately I couldn’t be a part of it. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
Will you be mentioning the next time this event comes around?
Did anyone go?
Any feedback you can provide?
Hi Drew.
The event was online and it was absolutely amazing. I attended several of the sessions and discovered loads of new information. It’s a great way to get to know various experts and how they can help you if you are searching for answers to what may be draining your energy and leading to fatigue. Along the way, I also discovered that many of them have written excellent books. So, I’ll probably be checking some of those out.
I don’t believe the free event is scheduled again anytime soon, but I will definitely keep you posted if I hear otherwise.
By the way, though it is no longer free, the talks are now available for a fee. You can buy them as a whole along with the transcripts and listen to them as much as you like. I think the registration link will take you to the page still. They’re definitely worth checking out if you’re interested in learning more.

Hi Karen, I wish I’d seen this post in time. I’d have referred my step-daughter to it. She suffers from Fibromyalgia.
Hi Sue.
I’m sorry that you missed it, too. It really was helpful.
But, if you’re interested in learning more, you can still listen to the talks by purchasing them as a bundle. A basic package is available (which is the one I ended up buying) that allows you to log in online and see the videos at your convenience as many times as you see fit and also gives you access to the transcripts. Or you can buy a thumb drive, with has the videos and all the other information on it.
If you’ve come into dead ends in seeking answers to help her with her fibromyalgia, it would be worth checking out. I found all the experts top quality.

So, how was the summit? It would be challenging hosting a summit on energy because presumably the people in your audience suffer from low energy, which would make it all the more difficult to keep them enthused about the summit.
Man, I wish I hadn’t missed this post. I could have really used that. I don’t suffer from CFS, but I definitely suffer burn out. I am working on trying to get my body the sleep it needs, without preventing myself from missing stuff during the day. It’s hard since I have worked a very specific schedule for over a decade!
Figuring out how to keep going all day long with all of the activities we would like to do is sometimes daunting. Great to hear there are some good resources out there to help people get their lives in balance.
This hit me, like a ton of bricks. I have just went through a week with specialist. Yes, several of those elements are now a part of my painful daily activities. I am open to learning more on natural ways to cure the pains. This is not a hard choice.
Thank you for keeping me updated and motivated.
